Welder – All Shifts Available

This position will be performing all kinds of welding, brazing, and cutting using conventional welders. On-the-job training to learn how to run the welding robots is available.

First Shift (appx. 45-50 hours a week)

Monday – Friday – 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, or 6:00 am – 3:30 pm

Second Shift (appx. 48 hours a week)

Monday – Thursday – 4:00 pm – 4:00 am

Weekend Shift (work 36 hours, get paid for 40)

Friday 4:00 am – 4:00 pm and Saturday, and Sunday –  6:00 am – 6:00 pm


  • Receive work orders, blueprints, and any instructions for the job
  • Plan the details of the work order, tools, and material required
  • Accurately count all parts and verify with work order
  • Notify Supervisor when discrepancies occur with work order
  • Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded
  • Set up, assemble, and tack weld parts
  • Fabricate the product by welding various metals
  • Check work to ensure a high-quality product is produced
  • Clean all heavy splatter from welded parts
  • Tag completed parts with the proper part number
  • Inform Supervisor of needed supplies, materials, and equipment
  • Collaborate with other team associates while simultaneously developing a team environment
  • Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and defective/questionable materials to Supervisor
  • Provide hands-on job function training to co-workers and new associates as needed
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies needed to accomplish job results
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to facilitate manufacturing functions and follow safety regulations
  • Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
  • Perform other duties and assignments as requested

  • Conventional MIG welder
  • Robotics welder
  • Sander
  • Hardstone grinder
  • Hammer
  • Scraping chisels
  • PPE (provided by the employer)


  • Able to set the welder for various metal thicknesses
  • Good math, reading, and writing skills
  • Involves lifting to 60 lbs., pulling, bending, stooping, subject to dust, dirt, and grease conditions.
  • Frequent Standing 85% of the day, Occasional Sitting 15% of the day
  • Exposed to moderate burns and flying objects.
  • Must possess, or have the ability, to develop knowledge of products manufactured
  • Prompt arrival and regular attendance at work
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
  • Pleasant and cooperative with co-workers
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
